You must lodge a Notice of Intended Marriage (NOIM) a minium of one month and one day prior to your wedding day. (I can provide the NOIM and help you fill in the forms).

When lodging the NOIM you MUST present the following documents to the celebrant:

BIRTH CERTIFICATE (please note: an original or certified extract is required) from the country of birth. Passports are NOT accepted.

DEATH CERTIFICATE (if a partner has been widowed)

DECREE ABSOLUTE (if a partner has been divorced)

ALL DOCUMENTS MUST BE IN ENGLISH

UNDER 18 requires a Court Order and parents consent.

WITNESSES You require 2 witnesses over the age of 18 to witness your vows and to sign the Marriage Register and Marriage Certificates.
